I recently watched on YouTube, a programme where you went off on a two week venture to find The Holy Grail.
Firstly, two weeks?? Who do you think you're kidding? According to YouTube, you did it in less than an hour, and the internet never lies. Don't think those big brown puppy-dog eyes are going to get you out of this one, Mister! (Well, okay they probably will.)
Secondly, you were looking in completely the wrong place, for the wrong thing altogether, and you DID actually find what you sought, you had it with you all along.
To be honest with you from the outset, I'm an atheist who doesn't believe in the bible and all the stories in it. But I watched your programme right through with fascination. At the end, I realised you have missed the point of the whole exercise completely.
The epic adventure of going off to seek the grail, is not about finding a cup, chalice or other object of long ago.

It's about finding yourself, and the amazing role you play in the history of the world and the lives of all those you connect with. And you, my friend, play a huge part in both circumstances.
Sure, you will say "I'm just a bloke on the telly!" (Do I get a gold star for paying attention?)
But to a lot of people, you are a whole lot more than that.
You approach anything in life with a sense of boyish wonder that hasn't been diminished by time or life experience. So many people out there get so caught up in the negative of the daily grind, that all they can focus on is the immediate struggle. And that becomes their life.
You are one of the rare people who show the world that no matter what you are going through, the world is still an amazing place full of wonder and excitement (once we burn all the spiders), and that it's okay to be happy and find positive things to smile about and share with people around you.
Your daughters will grow up knowing that their dad absolutely adores them, and all boyfriends will be measured against you, (Not a short joke, I swear!) and they will fail dismally. From you they will learn that it's okay to ask silly questions of the world around you, and try and find out the answers. It's okay to be vulnerable every now and then, the world doesn't end if you let people see how you really feel. But then you let the love of those around you, pick you up and help you move on again.
I haven't been lucky enough to meet you in person. You came to Australia and didn't even pop round for a cuppa. (What was that all about, by the way?). But I'm not going to feel sad or rejected or try to get revenge on you in some stalkerish way... *Note to self: Cancel private investalker.* I'm going to rise above it, as you would, and still compliment you on your choice of wallpaper in the guest bedroom. Very fetching. Wait, what??
But in all seriousness, you have the holy grail. You love without reservation, you are loved by many more than you've ever met in return, and you impact the world in a positive uplifting way.
Love always,
Natasha.
PS: I just gotta ask, because I saw it last night. Do you still want to be a drunk queen? I could plan you out a killer outfit! You'd look faaaaaaaaaaaaabulous darling, grocery shopping in a pink and white frilly number complete with heels and a matching Prada bag. Can you picture it? *runs off giggling*
Funny..I like it. Had a giggle. From a like minded fellow Aussie.

Thanks Sunnie! :) I wrote it in the wee small hours of the morning. Was hoping it didn't sound like I was stark-raving mad. :) Glad you liked it.
